I’ve been to Ecuador several times and have driven past more that one volcano but i never saw anything like this. Amazing.

I remember staying in a Guatemala town near the the Mexican boarder and hearing a lot of rumbling during the night. In the morning I asked the desk clerk if that was a volcano. “Oh Yes,” he said, ” But you don’t have to worry.. The lava always flows to the sea.”
