Most sculptors only sculpt. Most painters only paint. I am proficient in both disciplines.
My sculpture and paintings do an interwoven dance depending upon the theme of the project.

Whether I am carving marble, creating a multimedia piece or painting in oil I am captured by the process.
There is an element of time in my work and watching it develop is the reason for beginning.
A piece of stone will let me know when it’s done.
A painting is finished when the paint won’t stick.

“They say that an artist reflects the time in which they live, but I have always been attracted
to another time, another place and a culture that is not my own.”
